Lugenia C. Parrish, 95, was born on January 25, 1929, in Taylorville. She recently passed away on May 20, 2024. Lugenia attended school at Taylorville High School. She worked for Sangamon Company and Brown and Sons. In order to honor Lugenia's memory, donations can be made to First United Methodist Church of Taylorville, FUR Love, the Charitable Resale Shoppe for the proposed animal shelter expansion project.
