Susie Reber, formerly Susie Graham, of Taylorville passed away at 4:50 pm on Friday, July 12, 2024, at her daughter Stephanie's home surrounded by her loving family. Susie was born in Taylorville on September 17, 1955, to Joe and Elaine (Spresser) Graham, and grew up in Stonington where she graduated from Stonington High School.
Susie went on to complete nursing school and was a nurse and caregiver for most of her career. Susie loved all her patients, but Jessica Trostle held an extra special place in her heart. Susie enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and visiting with family and friends. She married Bill Reber in 1983 and he preceded her in death in 2004.
Susie is survived by her children, Billy Reber of Mascoutah, Courtney Reber of Springfield, and Stephanie (Companion David) also of Taylorville, Jason (Companion Michelle) of Springfield and her grandchildren Preston and Payson Reber of Mascoutah and Maliyah Reber of Taylorville.
