Mrs. Norma Jean Bourlard, 98, of Kincaid passed from this life at 6:15 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2024 in St. John's Hospital, Springfield.
She was born in Decatur Illinois, to Jennie Baratta and James J Ariana, Sr. A graduate of Kincaid High School and then Brown Business College in Springfield.
On June 21,1953 Norma married Arthur L Bourlard, he preceded her in Death on July 27, 1999. She and Art enjoyed many years of bowling and playing pinochle in her card clubs.
After 35 years, Norma retired in 1991, from the State of Illinois, Secretary of States Office and the Illinois State Senate.
Norma started singing in St. Rita's Choir when she was 6 years old and sang for many Weddings, Funerals and social events in the area.
Norma was a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church, St. Rita's Altar Society, American Legion Auxillary and South Fork Senior Citizens.
