Nancy Ann Sheedy, 76, of Morrisonville, Illinois, passed away on July 25, 2024 at Memorial Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. She was born on January 5, 1948 in Centralia, Illinois, the daughter of Robert H. and Bessie V. (Duncan) Flannigan. She married William D. Sheedy on November 1, 1969, at the Christian Church in Mt. Auburn, Illinois. William and Nancy were blessed with 55 years of marriage–nearly reaching an official 56th anniversary this November.
A truly caring and loving person, Nancy loved her family and her grandchildren. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Taylorville, Illinois. Nancy loved, and was a great believer, in God. She graduated from Mt. Auburn High School before going on to beauty school. Following her graduation, she sought entrepreneurship, ultimately owning and operating her own beauty shop in Palmer, Illinois.
