Ralph Emmerson Beard, 56, of Owaneco, IL, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Taylorville Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 17, 1967, in Hammond, IN, the son of Frank and Nancy Beard. He married the love of his life, Rhonda Beard, and she survives.
Ralph worked in construction for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time outside hunting and fishing. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and is dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Beard of Owaneco, IL; daughter, Patience Beard of Owaneco, IL; sons, Jake Beard and John Beard both of Taylorville, IL; grandsons, Carson Beard and Cameron Beard of Taylorville, IL; mother, Nancy Beard of Owaneco, IL; sister, Kathy (Monte) Clutter of Moweaqua, IL; and brothers, Danny Beard of Moweaqua, IL; and Jay Beard of Springfield, IL.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Beard; great-grandmother, Sadie Zeiter; and his sister, Jean Beard.
