JoAnn (Tonks) Stone, 94 of Taylorville passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 10:15 a.m. at her daughter's home in Taylorville. She was born on January 17, 1931, in Taylorville IL, the daughter of Henry G. and Creta (Oddy) Tonks. She married William A. Stone on July 12, 1962, in Taylorville. JoAnn was a member of the Taylorville Evangelical Free Church; Christian County Senior Citizens and she was a graduate of Stonington High School class of 1949.
JoAnn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Linda and Ted Fleming of Taylorville, IL grandchildren: Holly (Keith) Layton of Taylorville, IL; Theodore Fleming Jr. of Taylorville, IL; Shane (Jamie) Mann of Virginia Beach, VA; Carmen Mann of Chatham, IL, Virginia Coontz of Oklahoma; great-grandchildren: Madisyn Mann, Caleb Mann, Cason Mann, Austin Mann, Alliyah Mann, Alyssa Mann, Alexia Jones, Jaeda Mercer, Isabel Layton, Jillian Layton, Greyson Layton, Lilly Fleming, Teddy Fleming, Remi Fleming; daughter-in-law: Donna Mann of Oklah
