Rose M. Karalunas, 80 of Pana, Illinois died Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1:40 PM at Decatur Memorial Hospital with family by her side. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025 in Celebration Community Church in Pana at 10:30 AM with Pastor Terry Walters officiating. Visitation will also be Tuesday, March 18, 2025 in Celebration Community Church beginning at 9:30 AM until time of Service. Burial will be in Twin Pines Cemetery, Pana. Memorials may be made to Family Intentions.
Rose Marie was born Sunday, August 27, 1944 in Stonington, Illinois the daughter of Arlett Lester and Margaret Ellen (maiden name Winter) Knight. She was raised in Stonington, Illinois attending elementary school there and later moved to Pana with her family. Rose Marie Knight married Robert James Karalunas on February 3, 1974 in Pana, and he died November 19, 2002. Rose was a housewife and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
